Whispers of the Jungle

In designing Whispers of the Jungle, I used computational thinking to structure the experience through clear input-output logic rooted in sensory design. The main input is the user’s physical presence and gaze direction when entering the AR space. This triggers a layered output system: ambient rainforest sounds, soft particle movement, and a calming voice prompt. The actions—like the floating orb and gentle soundscape—were chosen to simulate a spiritual awakening ritual. These are not just visual flourishes, but part of an intentional thinking process: if a user seeks stillness, then deliver a multi-sensory sequence to evoke it. The rationale behind each component is to make healing feel natural, immersive, and intuitive. The feelings generated—curiosity, peace, and surrender—emerge through a careful mapping of visual and auditory feedback to emotional states, turning the scene into a moment of quiet transformation.
