Not Found Town

This project is inspired by my interest in and emotional resonance with dreamcore visual culture. When browsing those nostalgic, time-worn images online, I am often struck by a vague yet genuine sense of familiarity, as if standing at the boundary between memory and dream. These images do not point to any specific time or place, yet they evoke a collective perception of childhood, growth, and fragments of the past. Based on this, I extracted and reorganized elements from my own life memories, using VR as a medium to construct a small town that cannot be located on any real map. The buildings and scenes in this space are derived from reality, but reshaped through subjective emotion, forming a psychological landscape suspended between the real and the unreal. This project is not only an attempt to organize and reconstruct my personal memories, but also a visual response to the zeitgeist and collective subconscious embedded within dreamcore.
