Out of This World: Flesh and Bone is an AR experience depicting an "out of this world" experience, a place inhabited entirely by mouths, teeth, and tongues. It depicts the familiar as unfamiliar. Sometimes, to see yourself in an entirely new environment, the everyday imagery that we have come to accept can be put in an entirely new context. This world is partially human and yet entirely removed from humanity at the same time: We all have mouths, tongues, and teeth. To separate them from the human form, to take away the inherent comfort of knowing that it is attached to a face, to see them as sentient masses living in their own world, where humans may only exist to be a light snack...We are left with a dimension full of fleshy, wiggling masses, wet and fleshy appearances, and nothing but the sounds of their movements. A dimension made to disturb those who are undisturbed.
