Project 1 explores the emotional essence of my living room through a mixed reality experience created in STYLY. Rather than focusing solely on the physical appearance of the space, the project investigates how memories, routines, sounds, and emotions shape our relationship with everyday environments. As an international student living in Sydney, my living room has become the centre of my daily life, containing moments of study, relaxation, friendship, achievement, and vulnerability. Using a 3D scan of the space combined with spatial audio recordings, I aimed to create an immersive experience that allows viewers not only to see the room, but to experience the atmosphere and emotional significance it holds for me. Through this project, I explore how ordinary domestic spaces can become meaningful through the accumulation of everyday experiences and memories.
